Users and Access¶
Open Admin → Users to search and filter users by status and system role.
System roles¶
- Member — normal personal access.
- Event manager — member access plus event management.
- Admin — system-wide access with password and MFA requirements.
Edit a user¶
Select a user to update their first name, last name, mobile phone, system role, or active status. Changing a system role does not change team memberships or team roles.
Deactivate a user¶
Deactivate accounts that should no longer access Serve. Deactivation revokes current sessions and prevents sign-in while retaining necessary history.
You cannot deactivate your own administrator account. Ask another administrator to make changes that would remove your access.
Sign out everywhere¶
Use Sign out everywhere when a user's sessions should be revoked, such as after a lost device or suspected account issue. The user must sign in again on every device.
An administrator cannot use this action on their own account; another administrator must do it.
Reset administrator MFA¶
If an administrator loses their authenticator access, another administrator can reset MFA. The affected administrator must enroll again at sign-in. Never reset MFA based only on an unverified message or request.
