What you can do in Serve

Serve connects church-wide events with the teams, positions, and volunteers needed for each event. You can use Serve to:

  • Review and manage upcoming serving assignments across your teams.
  • Accept or decline requests from team leaders.
  • Get reminders for upcoming serving assignments.
  • Provide blackout dates/times when you are unavailable.
  • View published schedules.

How scheduling works

An event is a church-wide gathering or serving opportunity. Teams are added to an event, and each team builds its schedule using its positions and members.

An assignment connects a person to a team position for an event. A leader may send it as a request that needs a response or assign the person directly.

Serve is invite-only and intended for One Hope Church scheduling. Do not share schedules, member contact information, or screenshots outside their intended audience.

Role-Based Guides:

Your access may look different

One Hope Serve shows pages and actions based on your system role and team role. A person can have more than one role—for example, a team leader can also be a member and an event manager.
